Leonard Cohen's Music Helps Public Radio Station Win An Award
From Jan 8, 2011 leonardcohenforum
When I saw this announcement in LA Magazine with Leonard Cohen's name hooked up with Bruce Sringsteen and Johnny Cash, it really made me smile.
The radio station is: KCSN (88.5), an FM radio station in Northridge, Los Angeles, California and a service of California State University (aka Cal State Northridge).
Ever since KCSN changed its format to Adult Album Alternative (Triple A) on March 2010 , they have been playing Leonard Cohen songs on a regular basis. The tracks they play sound like Live in London.
I always get excited when I hear LC singing on the car radio.
